Q & A
I’M READY, HOW DO I BOOK?
First of all fill out the booking form via contact page and tell me a little about yourself and your ideal session date.
When we have decided on a date that suits us both I will set you up with a client portal that includes your questionnaire, contract and invoice.
Once you have paid the deposit and your contract is signed your date is locked in.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Most importantly I want you to feel comfortable and be you.
I can send you a style guide or you can send me pics so I can give you advise.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD OR WE ARE SICK?
If the weather is really bad or you are sick we will reschedule for a later date that suits us both.
WHERE SHOULD WE DO THE PHOTOSHOOT?
I love both in home and outdoor sunrise or sunset sessions.
Your home has your heart and it is where so many special memories are made.
These sessions tend to be more slow and intimate. We can take our time.
Outdoor sessions can be so magical, full of adventure and fun. Think of that beautiful golden light, bare feet in the sand, trekking through long grass, chasing your kiddies around and mountain backdrops. Also If it’s hot, feel free to bring your togs. I love to get shots of you in the water.
I have lots of beautiful locations up my sleeve, or you may have a location in mind that is sentimental to you. We can talk about this more and plan a location that is perfect for you and your family.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SHOOT?
We will ease into the shoot getting comfortable with each other and letting the kids play and explore, then throughout the shoot I will gently guide you to where the light is best giving you some prompts to get the best images, but its the in between moments where the real magic happens. They are the images I am waiting for. During the session I encourage lots of snuggles and kisses with your loved ones, the less you look at the lens the better. I want you to be yourselves!
WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
I am based in Cashmere, Christchurch. I allow one hours travel that is included in the cost. I am also happy to travel further for an extra cost.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY GALLERY?
You will get a sneak peak first and then within 30 days I will send you your high resolution images via private online gallery to download.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY IMAGES AFTER I RECEIVE MY GALLERY?
Print those images and get them on your wall!
I have a range of beautiful prints, custom made frames and albums that you can choose from and order through me. We can book an appointment to discuss this further after you receive your gallery.
